Terms & Conditions
1. Preamble
These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the VoxMap mobile application, a French electoral mapping and participatory democracy platform. By downloading, installing or using the application, you agree without reservation to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
2. Publisher and hosting
VoxMap is published by Paulin Laroche, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) registered with the French RNE under SIREN 494 088 677 (APE code 58.29C), with registered office at 15 rue Lahire, 75013 Paris, France, contactable at paulin.laroche@mobile-concept.com. Hosting is provided by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, in its Strasbourg data center. Data is stored exclusively within French territory and is not subject to the US CLOUD Act.
3. Acceptance and modification of Terms
Using VoxMap implies acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy. Any substantial change to the Terms is announced in the app; continued use after the announcement constitutes acceptance. The current version is available at voxmap.app/terms.
4. Access to the service
VoxMap is accessible without creating any account: all browsing features are available from first launch. Server access is reserved to genuine installations of the app (Apple App Attest / Google Play Integrity attestation). An optional Premium subscription, purchased and managed through the App Store or Google Play, removes advertising and unlocks enriched data; it can be cancelled at any time from the store's subscription settings. Accounts created before the account-free version of August 2026 are kept dormant for a possible future reactivation of account-based features.
5. Data collected
VoxMap only collects the minimum needed for the service: a technical installation identifier, technical logs purged within 7 days, and the technical identifiers related to the subscription and notifications. The municipality optionally set in Settings stays on the device. Details are given in the Privacy Policy at voxmap.app/privacy.
6. Expected behavior
The user agrees to use the service fairly: not to attempt to bypass app attestation, rate limiting or Premium data access control; not to mass-extract data (scraping) or disrupt the servers. If participatory features (petitions, comments) are introduced, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or unlawful content will be removed and, where applicable, reported to the authorities.
7. Intellectual property
The VoxMap trademark, logo, texts, interface and graphic elements are the exclusive property of the publisher. Electoral data is provided under Open License by the French Ministry of the Interior and data.gouv.fr. Any reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
8. Limitation of liability
Electoral data displayed is provided by the French Ministry of the Interior (official sources). VoxMap cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions in public sources. The application is provided "as is", without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
9. Data deletion
The user can delete all data linked to their installation at any time from the app: Settings → "Delete my data (GDPR)" — immediate and permanent. For out-of-app requests (app uninstalled, legacy account created before August 2026), the form at voxmap.app/delete-account or an email to paulin.laroche@mobile-concept.com ensures deletion within one month. Any subscription, managed by the App Store or Google Play, is cancelled from the store's settings.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting amicable resolution with the data protection contact (paulin.laroche@mobile-concept.com), the competent courts are those within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules to the contrary.
